Nanny in Fairview, Alberta

I have been a caregiver for three of my own children with special needs who all are now adults. One has Asperger’s/ Tourette’s Syndrome. Another had ADHD. My other son has Crouzon syndrome. He has a Trach and G-tube. He has had many surgeries from facial to ongoing leg surgeries. He had childhood epilepsy. I have experience with challenged airway & G Tube feeding. My son also spent time in wheelchair and rehabilitation physiotherapy. He has speech/ communication challenges and bone anchored hearing aid. He no longer needs 24 hr care and is fairly independent with daily direction for me. I have taken a non crisis intervention workshop. Lots of experience with behavioural management. I can offer patient thoughtful interactive helps for daily activities with the goal to encourage as much independence as possible by the client. I would be fully present.. I have been a housekeeper, janitor, and rental cleaner. I have experience as a missionary and pastor’s wife. Leading groups of adult and children Bible Clubs and Sunday School. My 18 year old need’s ongoing surgery. He also has monthly day trips to Edmonton. So we would need some flexibility there. Appointments and surgeries are scheduled so I would be to provide dates.
