Hi, my name is Courtney! I am a recent highschool honours graduate and am looking for more experience in childcare. Currently, I am working in a restaurant but am looking for new experience. Working in a restaurant has taught me organizational tips and communication skills. My mom has a dayhome and I have lived in a childcare environment my whole life. I love being around kids!Throughout the past summers I have worked with my mom and helped with her dayhome. I am very active and love being outside. I also love animals and pets. I am full of creative ideas and am always looking for new adventures and things to do. Crafting and DIY projects are a huge hobby of mine. I run a side business with my mom where we make children's tipis and dream catchers that we sell at farmers markets and online. I am so passionate about what I do, and I aspire to eventually go to post secondary school for dentistry, business or early childhood development. I still currently live at home since I still am fresh out of high school, but I do have my own transportation and would be willing to use it on the job. In high school I did take food studies and learned how to cook healthy and nutritious foods. I also love baking treats at home. I value kindness and charisma, and put all of my passion into my work. In the past I have had numerous babysitting jobs. I have worked with a girl with cerebral palsy and am familiar with working with kids with special needs. I enjoy school and am capable of helping with any homework! As well as I have experience with light house duties such as laundry, vacuuming, dishes etc. I adapt well to all types of personalities and am full of love and charisma!
