Nanny in Mississauga, Ontario

My name is Lenka and I am a nursing student at Ryerson University, looking to nanny for a family during the summer months. My first babysitting job was at the age of 12 and I was convinced I found the best job in the world! Since then, I have worked in several different positions around the world, helping care for children from month-old babies to adolescents. My previous experience includes: - Babysitting for families in Mississauga - Au pairing in Quebec and abroad in Spain and France - Working for the Mississauga children's summer camp programs - Teaching dance for children's after-school programs - Tutoring in language and writing development for elementary school students In addition to providing references upon request, I would also provide a copy of: - Valid Emergency First Aid and CPR C Certificate - Principles of Healthy Childhood Development Certificate - Vulnerable Sector Screening (Police Check) - Full G Driver's License I fully realize what an amazing leap of faith it is on the part of parents/guardians to entrust their children to someone else's care. This is why I believe that trust, reliability and communication are necessary in a family - nanny relationship and make this transition a positive one. I understand the importance of scheduling my time with children to keep them continuously stimulated and provide them with activities appropriate for their developmental level. I also lead a very healthy lifestyle and believe in extending this to the children I care for - whether that means cooking nutritional meals or engaging in outdoor activities. In addition, I have my own car and am willing to take the children to various activities, if need be. Finally, I am also a big animal lover and welcome a household with pets.
