I am Sarah, a nanny/ babysitter from Edmonton, Alberta. I specialize in caring for new borns and infants, but I am experienced with all age children. I am the oldest of 4 children and have my first aid. I can provide live out full-time care. I can help with housekeeping, meal preparation, and pet care. I understand that parenting can be challenging, and I am here to make it easier! I have a passion for the care and education children need and should get, I spent this past summer working at Camp Caroline as a counselor. I loved being able to work with the needs these kids had and encouraging new kids every week. This job gave me an even better understanding of how to care for ages 7 through 17 and how to make an impact in just a week. I was also given strategies for the struggles that come with watching over children that has made my job much easier, such as how to make chores and activities like homework more fun, how to comfort kids who miss their parents and much more. Providing excellent care is my number one priority and I do this by building relationships with families and providing a safe and loving environment. I can adjust my methods to match the family’s needs and I always make sure to keep communication open and honest. I am currently available for full-time and I am open to negotiate my rate to meet the needs of a family. I charge $22.0/hour and I'm open to discussing the details of the job.
