Nanny in Guelph, Ontario

My name is Anika Dixon and I have many years of experience working with children. My first official job working with children came when I was 16 years old, when I worked at family camp called Red Pine Camp in 2010. I taught swimming lessons to enfants and to children ages up to 4 years old and I interacted with the children during evening program. I also worked at a park and campground in Perth, Ontario for two summers, where I interacted with the public every day. I have a half-sister who was born when I was about 15 years old and I acted as her nanny frequently throughout her childhood. My brother had a son 5 years ago, and I acted as his childcare provider many times as well as for a full summer one year as his full-time nanny. I am currently a student at the University of Guelph going into my fifth year studying zoology (my major) and psychology: brain and cognition (my minor). When I complete my degree I hope to find a job working at a wildlife conservation and rehabilitation centre.
