Meg was truly awesome. My daughter actually started talking full sentences much earlier in comparison to kids her age. She is trained teacher and would read lots of books, do lots of activities with my baby and keep her entertained.She started to take care of my baby when she was 22 months old. She would also give her all her meals and do all cleaning activity like cleaning bottles, cleaning her play area and toys each day. My daughter still misses her and we miss her too. Would highly recommend,Meg!! Would give her a 10/10.

I'm writing this letter to recommend Megumi as a nanny for your childcare needs. She has been taking care of my then 1.5-year-old son from July 2022 till March 2023. She has also been a tutor for my now 3.5-year-old son from January-June 2024, while he was not able to attend pre-school. She has been a reliable, fun, loving and hard-working full-time nanny. Most of the time she has been coming during the day, but for about three month she has also been a live-in nanny. Her exceptional work ethic and childcare skills make her an amazing nanny. Throughout her time with us, Megumi displayed patience, empathy, and attention to detail for my family. She loves working with children, and I see this manifest in her interest to nurture children’s growth and learning. She picks up the children’s interests quickly and prepares games, toys, books and tasks to further develop the child’s interests. We saw our son’s academic skills thriving as soon as Megumi was his childcare provider. For example, his pre-school teacher was impressed that he knew all major colours at the age of 2.5. Her background in Montessori and early childhood education is so valuable to the child’s development. She always arrived on time, was reliable with our child in and outside the house and created a safe environment. She was able to follow the family routine, feed him snacks and lunch as well as putting him for his naps. She engaged our son in Montessori learnings, taught him cleanliness and took him to the park, music classes and the toddler gym at the community centre. She has enthusiasm for seeing children develop their educational skills and experiences. What was especially outstanding is that she supported us through two moves across countries – which is also the main reason we only worked with her for a short period of time. She took care of our son so we could organize the move, then she also came to live with us for three months to support us and especially our son to transition into a new life. When we moved again and had to take our son out of pre-school, she was able to give our son tutoring lessons to keep his early learning journey going. It is wonderful to see what a special relationship our son has to her and that she was one of the pieces that remained constant for him when a lot of his environment changed. I can highly recommend Megumi as a nanny or tutor. She is a reliable, trustworthy, educated and caring person, that bonds and takes care of children easy. Some of Megumi’s skills and abilities include the following: • engaging the child in Montessori or early childhood education activities • supervising and caring for young children • preparing nutritious meals and snacks • dress and feed the child • put the child to sleep for nap time • change the child’s diapers or support with potty time • take the child to the playground, community centre, classes • prepare craft materials and assist the child to use them • instruct the child in personal hygiene and social development • read books to the child • teach the child language • maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home and outside • discipline the child according to the methods requested by the parents • perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties With us moving back and forth between Europe and Canada, we were no longer able to keep her as our nanny / tutor but highly recommend Megumi as a child caregiver.
