Nanny in Winnipeg, Manitoba

Hello! I’m Danica, a 25 year old franco-manitobaine (fully bilingual in french and english) searching for a few regular hours a weekend for extra money while being a full time student in early childhood education! I have plenty of experience with kids of all ages and abilities. I have been babysitting since I was 12. I have worked two years abroad in Europe as aupair (basically an international live in nanny), once in Germany with a 3 and a 5 year old and once in Luxembourg with an 8 year old. I’ve worked for many families locally with up to four kids at a time, ages 6months - 12 years old. I’ve also been a camp counsellor at week long, overnight camps for many years during with kids from 8-17 years old. I have experience working with kids with special needs such as autism, dyslexia, speech delay, physical limitations... I myself am also autistic with ADHD which gives me a unique point of view and baseline when it comes to helping others who need that little extra help. I don’t have a driver's license yet but I get around with relative ease on foot, by bike and by bus in Saint Boniface, Windsor Park and Southdale. I can help with meal preparation, light cleaning such as doing dishes and tidying up, pet care and possibly other tasks if agreed upon!
