Nanny in Verdun, Quebec

I currently live in Verdun, QC. However I was born and raised in Paris, France. I am bilingual (french/english) which can be a plus for some families. I have 10 years of experience in child care. I have worked from 2007 to 2015 as a child caregiver in Paris to 4 beautiful children. They were 3 months, 1, 3, and 4 years old when I started. I was in charge of picking them up from school/day care, preparing meals and snacks, doing homework supervision (includes music and piano lessons), doing some light housekeeping, taking them to their activities or doctor's appointments. I then moved to Calgary,AB and was working for a family of 3 children (2, 4 and 7 years old). They are a homeschooling family so on the days I was with them I was in charge of the homeschooling lessons. That includes reading, writing, math and french. I had a membership at the Glenbow museum so I used take them once a week for an art workshop or simply to look at the new exhibitions. We also went once a week to the closest library or the central library in Downtown where we attended story time and also read and borrowed books. On the days we didnt do cultural activities, we focused on outdoor fun. We went on hikes, picnics,bike rides and other adventures in Sandy beach park, North glenmore park, or at the Weaselhead natural area. On top of that, I still made sure the house was always in order when the parents came home as I did some housekeeping throughout the day. I was also in charge of preparing all the good and healthy meals and snacks. I have also worked as a preschool teacher in Discovery bay, Hong Kong in 2013 where I was in charge of educating 10 children (age 3 to 5 years old) in the basics of French grammar and conversational speaking. I ended up retiring from my full time nannying career in 2018. I currently work in Human Ressources full time. I am now looking for part time work as a nanny, for the only reason that I miss it so much.
