Hello :) I am Victory, an experienced and motivated babysitter living in Brandon, Manitoba. I want to join a loving family to provide part-time and summer-only live-out care. My primary focus is on the safety and engagement of the children. I am certified in basic CPR. I believe in engaging with children and setting a strong example. In 2018, I began working with children by babysitting. The majority of the babysitting jobs I did were for relatives and neighbours who lived nearby and had children in elementary school. I entertained the kids by playing games, doing puzzles, and reading books with some screen time (depending on the parents/guardians' preferences). I also picked up toys and straightened the room after activities to organize and clean the house. I made healthful, age-appropriate snacks (based on parental / guardian preferences). As part of bedtime preparation, I bathed, clothed, and aided the children with school assignments and special projects from various courses. Before I left the house, I made sure to give the parent/guardian a quick rundown of how their child's day went. I recently worked as a summer camp counsellor at a daycare, where I worked with elementary and middle school students. My coworkers and I oversaw the children by preparing day-to-day camp duties, leading interactive sessions with the youngsters and supervising field trips.
