Hello my name is Lindsay, I am in my fourth year of human nutritional sciences at the University of Manitoba. Most of my jobs throughout high school and University have included Childcare. I started out working for the city teaching hip-hop classes to 5 and 6 year olds. I worked at Oxford learning centre, which my job consisted of tutoring and helping children with reading. I am currently employed at a day care part time and work with school age children. Approximately 3 years ago, I began nannying for a family and also currently work for them part time. I have approximately 7 years of experience working with children, and approximately 5 years in a professional childcare setting. I am looking to spend my summer with an amazing family who I can feel safe and comfortable around while also optimizing safe, fun, loving care for your children. I would also be interested in part time for the fall, as I will be heading back to school (final year). I am certified in first aid CPR, current criminal record check and Abuse registry check (through daycare), food handlers certificate, drivers license and I also have my own vehicle. I want to be a dietitian in the near future and encourage a healthy, active and nutritious lifestyle for myself and the children in my care.
