Hello, My name is Janoah. I grew up in a family of twelve children as the fourth oldest with the rest of the children being under the age of ten. As an elder sister, I spent a great deal of time caring for my little siblings. I often helped prepare meals, cleaned, and watched and entertained the children. I am quite familiar with young children & babies and the tasks of caring for them. I have experience preparing formulas, changing diapers, bathing, dressing, and putting children to sleep. I also have experience engaging the children with crafts, games, and other fun activities. I am a big fan of reading, so I have often read to them too. One of my little sisters has cerebral palsy which limits her mobility. She also has a trach for breathing and a gastronomy tube for feeding and requires medical care. Because of this I had preliminary training in CPR and First Aid as well as real life experiences in emergency situations. Having these experiences has equipped me with a variety of skills that are crucial for a dynamic and demanding environment, including multitasking, patience, flexibility, effective communication, and empathy. I am excited to apply these skills in a role where they can make a meaningful impact.
