Hi! Good day employers, my name is Chona married with one child, lives in Manila, Philippines. I worked as a domestic helper/baby sitter/care giver for about 11 years. I worked in Singapore in 3 years as a care giver to a single old lady. My task include cooking her food, giving her medicine, giving her shower, accompany her to see her doctor and sleep with her at night in her room. I stayed with her until her passing days. I left Singapore 1991. I applied in Hong Kong as a domestic helper. My first employer was with a Chinese family with two boys, age 2 ½ and new born. I do all the household chores and at the same time looking after the boys. I do the marketing, preparing three meals a day and send the boys to the school. Both my employers are working; they left the house at 7:00 A.M and come home at 7:00 P.M. I finished 3 contracts in a period of 6 years with these employers. My next employer was with the British family with 2 boys, age 2 and new born. I worked with them for 8 months because they need transfer to Korea. My tasks are to look after the 2 boys, babysitting at night if my employers need to go out for a party and do the household chores. My next employer was with the Dutch family with 2 girls, age 3 and 1 ½ . I looked after the two girls, cleaned house and did most of the cooking. With this family I learned how to cook Western food with the help of the cooking book. I stayed with this employer for 9 months because I decided to go home and to have the family of my own. I was blessed with these three employers because they're very kind, they treated me well and they have big heart to a domestic helper like me. Thank you and have a good day!
