Hello, my name is Karuna Saraswati. I am a first year student at VIU where I am currently studying psychology. My current aspirations are to become a humanitarian aid worker in an underdeveloped, third world country. I have excellent people skills ( great communication capabilities, listen attentively) and have been currently volunteering as a Student Ambassador at VIU. Essentially I meet with potential students and lead them on a campus tour, and answer any questions that they may pose and try to help them envision the realities becoming a university student and potentially living by themselves. I have babysat children for 4 years, from babies up to roughly 10 years old and have amassed many skills in order to be able to relate to them and yet provide them with a steady sense of direction and authority.
