Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

I am a student at the University of Ottawa, who has grown up working with children. I was always baby sitting the neighbourhood kids growing up and have known that working with children has always been important to me. During early high school I spent my summers working at scout camp, bonding with kids and making their summers the best they could be. In the winter months I was a ski instructor working in the kidz village at the resort with 3-5 year old's. I have my First aid certification, and I have had my NLS, so I am extremely comfortable being around water with children. I spent 2 years volunteering with my city as an assistant swimming instructor. I love to be outdoors and active, always going to the park and walking around on trials when I can. So the outdoors would be an important part of my care with your child. I become extremely protective of those who I care about and your child/children would be my top priority when I am with them. I have no problem with laundry, cleaning or cooking (as long as there is a recipe to follow for specific meals). I have always loved school and helping others to learn, so I have no problem helping with homework in this last month of school or continuing to work on reading and writting or math through the summer. I think it can be fun and hope that they would think that too.
