Dear Families, I'm a very creative person and enjoy engaging children in activities both physically and cognitively. I have experience working with speech and fine/gross motor development, and like to incorporate the skills that I have learned into daily activities. I believe that children learn best through play that is facilitated by both adult and child, and also by what they are interested in. I like to spend as much time as possible outdoors enjoying the nice weather in all seasons. I believe that children need healthy amounts of outside time and like to plan activities accordingly. I\'m a huge planner, and enjoy being prepared for the day. Although I appreciate how sometimes plans do not always go accordingly, I like to be prepared. I enjoy planning activities that are developmentally appropriate for both outside time and inside time, such as arts, crafts, baking, building, etc. I am hoping to find a family who is looking for someone for evenings (possibly a family who is required to work shift work).
