Hello, my name is Mairin and I am a 20-year-old undergraduate student from Vancouver, Canada. I am entering my fourth year of a Cultural Studies degree in the English department at McGill University. I am organized, responsible, and passionate about working with kids. With over 7 years of childcare experience, as well as volunteer positions teaching ballet, I am a qualified and earnest candidate. I am fluent in both French and English, with high school level Spanish. Additionally, I have counselling training and have worked as a peer counsellor and tutor with students aged 12-18 to provide emotional as well as academic support.
