Nanny in Stellarton, Nova Scotia

Hello There, I have been working with children and youth as a nanny and a coordinator with arts and land-based education programs for the past ten years. I have recently moved from BC to the East Coast and would love to meet a family that is looking for a deeply caring, creative, and life-feeding individual to look after their children. I understand that finding a caregiver that suits your family and home rhythms and preferences is a fairly sensitive endeavour. My aim as a caregiver is to keep your home in a good way by tending to the systems you have in place with attention to detail, as well, with your children to offer strong supportive boundaries and to encourage curiosity, exploration, expression and participation in the world. In my spending time with kids, I love cooking nutritious foods, going outside in all weather, making art, being a little silly, encouraging ideas and learning, reading books, tending to the balance of energy levels throughout the day with naps and quiet times... With parents, I appreciate clear and open communication about your family efforts and ideas around raising your children, and time given to making sure we're on the same page. Some other details: I have my own vehicle so I can travel to your home. I am looking for part time hours but can be flexible.
