Hi there! My name is Carolyn. I'm a mature, professional and reliable university student interested in finding a position as a child care provider either in Cochrane or the Calgary area. Let me tell you a bit about myself. I originally moved to Edmonton, Alberta in 2012 while attending junior high school. Being from a small town in Southern Ontario I was quickly forced to adapt to living in a major city as well as learn to integrate into a new school system and make new friends. In 2016, I graduated from Louis St. Laurent High School in Edmonton, Alberta and immediately moved to Calgary, Alberta the following September to attend the Elementary Education program at Mount Royal University. The following year I moved back to Edmonton, Alberta to work towards my Social Work Diploma at Norquest College. Now entering my third year of post-secondary school in September which has taken me back to one of my favourites cities, Calgary, Alberta. This spring/summer (2018) I have decided to make the move back to Calgary, Alberta with my boyfriend and am residing in the Cochrane area where I will continue to study on a part-time, online basis this coming September. I am currently seeking employment as a child provider, nanny, babysitter, etc. in the surrounding area. Working with children and families is a true passion of mine. I love to enable myself to grasp a sense of what parents are seeking from a nanny or child care provider and follow their guidelines, recommendations and household routine to the highest standard possible. My experience working with children is very vast. In addition to attending the Elementary Education program at Mount Royal University. I aIso have six years of steady babysitting experience as well as experience coaching children's soccer, dance and skating. I like to provide the best care to both my clients and my client's families. In addition to offering child care, nanny and babysitting services. I also provide pet care and light housekeeping services as well. I have lots of experience with animals. I currently own a six month old chocolate lab which has proven quite a challenge at times, but he is truly a great addition to our little family. I also previously I have experience working as a house/commercial cleaner. Therefore, can provide basic cleaning around the house on a regular basis or when needed. I like to make the experience of having a child care provider very unique. I take pride in offering one-on-one time with each child in the home. Ensuring that each child feelings wanted, included and is most importantly having fun. It also ensures that each child's needs and wants are being attended too. If there are any developmental needs, behaviours or social needs that need attention and are requested I'm more then capable of using my knowledge to provide the best care for your little one. I also believe being interactive is extremely important in a child's development. Not only with the provider themselves but also with the world around them. I do own my own reliable vehicle (2014 Hyundai Santa Fe) therefore day trips, outings or driving a child to/from a friend's place of activities is a simple task for me to accomplish.
