Hi, my name is Jayna and I am a nursing student at UBC Okanagan. I will be returning to Alberta in April and am looking for a job where I have the opportunity to work with kids. I have been providing childcare for many different families for over 8 years and have experience caring for children of all ages, including those with disabilities. I am certified in Standard First Aid & Level C CPR and hold a Red Cross Babysitting License. I also have a Class 5 GDL Driver's Licence and maintain a clean driving record. I am up-to-date on all my vaccinations and completed a criminal record check in August as part of the requirements for nursing school. I absolutely love spending time with kids and planning fun activities for us to do together. I particularly love being outside and enjoy many outdoor activities in my spare time such as hiking, skiing, and swimming. I am able to bathe, dress, and feed children as well as prepare meals and perform any other household tasks. I love animals and have 2 dogs and a cat of my own. Taking care of things has always been a passion of mine and it is the reason I chose to pursue a career in nursing.
