Who I Am: Hello my name is Robina. My Husband and I have lived in Rocky for 7 years, we have a big ol' dog, Marlin and no kids. We met in Forestry at NAIT, and currently he is a Wildfire Ranger, which means I am more available come fire season. Growing up in Edmonton, I graduated from Victoria Composite High School, which is known for it's preforming and visual arts. If your children are interested in dance, acting, singing, painting, sketching, pottery, sewing, knitting or just having fun getting creative, I'm your lady. I also love getting kids outside where we can be active and if they like I can share my love of bugs, wildlife and botany. From 2008 to 2015 we lived in the small town of Grande Cache, AB. There I enjoyed a range of jobs, Assistant Manager of the Cinema (so tons of birthday party experience), Program Coordinator for COPE providing in school and community programs, substitue teaching grades K-8, and volunteered in schools and around the community. I've even emcced events like Canada Day and the Annual Rotary Soapbox Derby. It would be fair to say I'm a colourful character, who values hard work, seeing a project through, and no matter what life brings my way, finding at least a little joy and balance in each day. My biggest draw back? Migraines! I typically get a cluster of migraines from the 27th to the 7th of each month. My migrains can also be triggered by to much light, certain scents, and major weather changes. If you are interested, currently I am available Monday thru Friday, 3-4 days a week, at 4-5 hours per day. However I am flexable if a longer day is needed in your week.
