Nanny in Fort Simpson, Northwest Territories

My name is Aina Anuoluwapo Damilola, a graduate of Linguistics. I have spent more than twenty years studying and relating with people in my environment. I have completed my primary education and secondary education too. Over time, I obtained other certifications including a customer service certificate from Sesewa Academy in conjunction with U.S Consulate. I also obtained a Project Management Certificate and had my teachers’ training certification in Bridge International Academy. I was the class teacher as well as the organizer for extra-curricular activities. I acquired my project management certificate in 2016 and both my customer certificate and my teacher training certificate and a Certificate of Appreciation in 2018. I also earned certifications as a practitioner of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (2021) and Early Childhood Consultation in 2021 and attended an NHS healthcare support worker program offered by Keep Britain Working in April 2022. In addition, I am a trained and certified CPR, AED, and First Aid specialist. I have my IELTS result too. I taught in Bridge International Academy for two years before working as an SAT Verbal Instructor in an educational firm. Presently, I work as the Relationship Manager where I teach Linguistics and function as a childhood and educational consultant to children, students as well as parents. My decision to become a Live-in-carer came from a desire in me that came to light in my teenage years. I have always felt at home around children. I have always been curious as to how children can observe their surroundings and acquire knowledge. This passion for young ones fostered my decision to start giving Sunday school lessons in the children’s department of my church while I was still in my junior years in high school. Teaching and caring for toddlers and teens have helped me gain direct classroom and care experience as a young educator. Not only my love for children but also my love for education and care giving became evident. I believe that my desire to become a nanny is only natural. I have always been the type to push myself out of my comfort zone and I have always loved experiencing the lifestyle in different places. I decided to become a nanny abroad because I am passionate about delivering a high standard of care to people. I am also thrilled of the whole different experience it would bring. Looking back on my tutoring and volunteering experience, I realize that I possess many of the natural qualities needed to be an Nanny or Live in Carer: patience and compassion for everyone I have worked with, particularly in times when they struggle. I enjoy listening to many different opinions, interpretations, and thoughts and I'm naturally engaging with children's work. I love great writings and the lively discussions it can inspire.
