Nanny in Gatineau, Quebec

Hello my name is Noémie, I am 23 years old and fluently bilingual in French and English. I am a loving, caring and honest woman who is looking for part-time work to help a family with their children. I am located in Gatineau and have my own car to get to your home, pick up your kids from school and drive the children to activities, if allowed & needed for your specific needs. I have started taking care of kids at the age of 11. And have been doing this on and off for the last 12 years. I also tutored primary students with math and languages for 3 years. I am able to find different ways to teach that fits the children's learning style. I have also been a substitute teacher for high school students for 1 year, I was able to successfully lead classes of 25 students, and also support teachers with classes of student's with disabilities and learning difficulties. Aside from being confident in teaching children, I also efficiently supervise and entertain kids, prepare nutritious meals and ensure their safety at all times. I am also comfortable around any animals, light house cleaning and providing mom with some support for post-partum care. I live a very simple lifestyle. In fact, I currently work in corporate, but I am looking to get out of that life to nanny part-time and continue building my business, which is my passion. I am also taking my certification in Yoga Teacher Training and nervous system regulation. This is also a beautiful skill I can incorporate with toddlers and parents if needed, such as teaching the kids to identify regulate their emotions. As well as teach parents the same for optimal harmony within your household. I personally do not yet have experience with teaching family's or kids this, but I've successfully integrated them into my personal life. I do not yet have cpr or first aid, I would absolutely be willing to get it. A little bit more about me: I have interests in homesteading, farming, doula knowledge, gentle-parenting, I love all animals, I spend a lot of time hiking, moving my body and stimulating my mind.
