Hi! My name is Karyn, I'm 27 and from County Armagh, Ireland. I’m looking for a kind and welcoming family to join as a nanny, either full-time or part-time. I bring years of hands-on experience working with children of all ages and capabilities, and I’m passionate about creating a nurturing and engaging environment for every child. 📚 My Experience: Part-Time Nanny Experience: For 7 years, I was a part-time nanny for my two nephews and two nieces back home in Ireland. I was their nanny from infancy right up to their current ages 5, 6, 12 and 14. My responsibilities included school drop-offs and pickups, school homework, preparing nutritious meals, organising fun and creative activities and providing attentive care to support each of their emotional and developmental needs. Professional Background with Children and Young Adults: For over 5 years, I’ve worked extensively with children and young adults of all abilities, encouraging growth and creativity. I provided private piano and singing lessons to over 20 students, spanning from toddlers as young as 3 years old to adults aged 65. In addition to teaching, I successfully ran two school programs, a learning support group choir and an African drumming group, both tailored to students with special needs. These roles required me to adapt my approach to meet individual learning requirements, ensuring that every child thrived in an inclusive environment. As part of these programs, I led both groups to competitions in Ireland, where we achieved 1st place in each category. Music and Arts Therapy: I designed and delivered three Music and Arts Therapy programs, supporting young people (ages 10–18) in managing anxiety through music-based coping strategies.
