I am currently a Licensed Practical Nursing Student, with experience working in a long-term care facility through my practicum. During my practical experience, I provided assistance with morning care, applying medications, transferring, using mechanical lifts, bathing, feeding, documenting, completing vitals and head-to-toe assessments, reporting to staff, and toileting. I worked with residents with mobility deficits, impaired cognitive abilities, dementia, oxygen tanks, etc. I am a certified basic life support provider, with training in CPR (for all ages), AED usage, and airway obstruction clearing. I have a sound knowledge base in regards to healthcare and safety, and have had experience caring for my nieces and nephews.
