Warm greetings to my future employer. My name is Kimberly, teacher and dedicated caregiver/ family help provider from the Philippines actively looking for job postings in any location in Canada. I have wide range of experience when it comes to caring and teaching children aged 0 to 16. As a Home Child Care Provider (HCCP) overseas applicant, I have all my requirements complete on hand should the program will again start to accept limited applications. My only need to forward my application is a Job Offer from an employer. A valid, genuine job offer is the most vital single document that will make my application to be forwarded in the Government of Canada I consider my role as a mother as my most concrete, direct and lifelong child care unpaid experience. I love children and has the knowledge of the approaches and theories of child developmental milestone, cook simple meal, do light housekeeping, groceries and run errands. I am also literate when it comes to computer software so I could help your children in their projects, assignments or online classes. I am flexible, versatile and hardworking with the strong desire to work,live and travel in Canada and immerse in the Canadian community and culture, thus, I require visa sponsorship. As a teacher here in the Philippines, I can multi-task. My role is not just confined to teaching within the four corners of the classroom, but rather , I serve as the second parents of my learners. I attend to almost all aspects of my students needs. I utilize different meaningful learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate to the child's age and level. I believe in Maria Montessori's belief on learning that "play is the work of the child." so I have participated in an Introduction to a Montessori course from The Prepared Montessorian. As a child minder, I will use play-based activities, hands-on learning that will make them lifelong and holistic individuals honed with knowledge, skills and right attitude. I will ensure that your kids are well-taken cared of while I am facilitating their learning process. I personally home school my own children so I get to personalized my learning materials based on their age, level and interest.Parenting and caring for my children since 2017 alongside working as a full time teacher has developed my creativity in designing structured, free and active play-based activities. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education major in English and earned 30 units in Master of Arts in Education. I am also the School Nurse/ Clinic in-Charge here in school, Red Cross Youth Coordinator and Girl Scouts of the Philippines Coordinator so I have flexible skills in facilitating or responding to certain emergency needs be it in basic standard first aid in your home . I am responsible in giving medication to children or students who feel ill and provide basic first aid treatment to students who need it. Monitoring the nutritional status of our students is part of my job, thus weekly, I prepare healthy meal plan for our feeding activity. Being an active member/volunteer of the Red Cross Philippines and Girl Scouts of the Philippines and the moderator of the organization in our school, I make an effort to participate in different in enhancement training in developing practical skills which I could apply to be an effective nanny. I even participated in the Anaphylaxis in Child Care Setting online course offered by Allergy Aware Canada. As a mother myself, I am very particular to the wellness of my own children, thus, I can assure to the family that I will be working with, that they will get the best service from me. I love kids and treat them like my own. Every child is special and they deserved to be loved and respected.I teach kids to be well-rounded and help them develop their outmost potential by providing meaningful learning experiences and fun activities like reading stories, singing, dancing, do simple baking, drawing, solving jigsaw puzzles, making portfolios, engaging in indoor and outdoor games, and a lot more. A valid job offer is the heart of my entry to work for your family in the new Home Child Caregiver Program (HCCP). As I am an overseas applicant, the employer needs to download the Job Offer form in CIC website and no need to apply for positive LMIA. I do hope that the employer will be patient and supportive in the process. The family can expect me to be very hands on in the entire procedure of my HCCP application.
