Nanny in AB Beach, Alberta

Hi, my name is Haley! I currently live in the United States, but I'm hoping to find a job as a live-in nanny in Canada. I have eight years of childcare experience ranging from newborn to school age children, I am CPR and First-Aid Certified, and a non-smoker. While I consider myself to be a career nanny, I am also currently working towards getting my degree in art history. I have several hobbies that I would love to share with your children such as: -Music (knowledge of music theory and ability to play the guitar, ukulele, and piano) -Art (I work with several different mediums including watercolor, acrylic, oil pastels, and clay) -Learning new languages (I have a conversational grasp of French, ASL, and Spanish) -Reading -Creative Writing -Hiking and yoga I have experience working as a live-in and travel nanny, as well as working for high net worth families. I am able to maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion, while making sure the children in my care are always having fun. I have volunteered at an accredited preschool for several years, and during this time I have acquired knowledge of child development, as well as the process of creating a curriculum for various age groups. I am very passionate about fostering a love of learning within the children I look after, and I love to plan activities to encourage the pursuit of knowledge. Outside of childcare I have also worked several jobs that including house management/family assistant roles, and I would be more than happy to complete that genre of tasks in your home. One of the things I prioritize as a nanny is making sure the family is able to spend as much time as possible with their children.
