Hi, my name is Jasmine. I understand that leaving your child with someone else is a big decision. Your child is one of the most important things in your life, and I take the responsibility of caring for them very seriously. I genuinely love this work. Being able to keep a child safe, happy, and cared for while their parents are working is incredibly meaningful to me. I love the little milestones such as learning new words, problem solving, figuring things out in their environment, and being a part of a child’s growth. My first priority as a nanny is keeping your child safe. My second priority is making sure your child has a fun, positive, and loving experience while they are with me. My third priority is following the routines and structure that you already have with your child, so they can continue having the same consistency and familiarity they are used to while you are away. I have five years of childcare experience and have worked with children from four months old to school age. I have also cared for twin infants. My experience includes: Infant care • Feeding, introducing solids, and following your child’s nutrition routines • Nap routines • Supporting developmental milestones through age-appropriate play • Developmental play, lots of eye contact, talking, and engagement with infants • Singing, reading, and interacting throughout the day • Supporting infants through transitions such as separation anxiety • Noticing and responding to common infant needs and changes in comfort School-aged children • School drop-offs and pick-ups • Following morning routines • Helping with homework • Meal preparation • Bedtime routines • Supporting children’s activities and daily schedules Household support • Tidying and keeping spaces organized • Following household checklists • Helping with the tasks that keep a home running smoothly • Additional housework upon request Pet care • Experience caring for multiple pets at the same time • Comfortable with large dogs • Dog walking and helping with pets as part of the family routine Some things that are unique to my care style • I respect each family’s approach to screen time and am happy to follow what works best for your family, including no screens if that is what you prefer. • I love being outdoors and am happy to spend as much time outside as possible with children. I also enjoy teaching children about nature and helping them explore the world around them. • I love doing activities with children because it is a great way to bond. • I love music and singing with children. • I have experience with yoga and meditation, and I enjoy helping children learn ways to manage their emotions through things like deep breathing, taking a moment to reset, and talking about big feelings. • I speak English and have a basic understanding of Spanish.
