Hello, my name is Eleanor. I am hoping to find a childcare employment opportunity in Ottawa from the end of June 2023- end of August 2023, with potential for extension if the right fit comes along. I am the eldest of 4 girls, and have always done my best to aid in their care. I am very energetic and extroverted! I love to be outdoors playing sports, camping, swimming, etc. As well, I love to stay home and do crafts, paint, and sew. Consistently, I work to be a qualified employee. I have experience with diaper changing, teaching numbers, letters, and colours, as well as, plenty of knowledge regarding child development. On top of this, I am willing to travel. I have extensive prior history in the role as I have graduated from the Early Childhood Education program at Algonquin College and have completed 4 field placements at childcare centres with children ages ranging from 6mths-4 years. Through my past 6 summers, I have had the opportunity at a summer camp working with economically disadvantaged children and youth ages 8-14, meaning I also have plenty of school-age experience as well.
