Hello! My name is Maya and I love reading, singing, yoga, baking, travelling and spending time with my friends. I currently volunteer at a place where I work with 13-16-year-olds (have been doing this for three years). I recently graduated after passing my a-levels in Germany. Additionally, I have spent two weeks interning at a primary school. I currently still live in Germany, but I have a Working Holiday Visa and am ready to leave whenever. Preferred stay would be until beginning of July 2024. In addition to caring for the children, I am able to provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, pet care, and I am certified in CPR. I love children (which is why I did an internship at an elementary school) and luckily they have a tendency to feel similarly about me. Unfortunately, I do not have any siblings despite always wanting some and I love travelling/learning about other cultures - being an au-pair is the perfect opportunity for me to get to see new parts of the world and to be a big sister like I always wanted to!
