As a caregiver with over 7 years experience working with children of all ages, I am confident in my ability to impress you. I hold two degrees, various special needs certificates and have worked in many fully accredited programs. Currently I am a teacher of the first grade and believe in the difference I make in the lives of my students. I have never had a negative report throughout my career as I teach values, principles, morals and the Alberta curriculum with love and compassion. I enjoy working with children because of the opportunities it presents for me to expand on my own knowledge and because of the carefree nature it allows me. I love to run and play and giggle - the world through the eyes of a child is beautiful and it\'s a rare experience that we, as adults, are able to see the authentic perception of it. I have always loved children and often babysat throughout high school. More recently however, throughout both of my degrees, I would accept occasional caregiver roles (including children with special needs). I have also taught preschool, lead the 5 year old room at a daycare, coordinated summer events at the same daycare, and am currently a grade one teacher. I have experience with children that are only months old all the way through high school.
