Nanny in Canmore, Alberta

Hello everyone, My name is Stepanka and I have been in the Bow Valley for almost 5 years. I’m originally from Czech Republic. I’m certified as an Early Childhood Educator/level 1, which I have obtain in February 2022. But even before this I have already worked in children environment. Back in Czech Republic in 2011 I have started as a volunteer in Orphanage Smolina. Here I visited children age 2-17. I helped them with their homework, assisted orphanage workers to prepare activities as reading, drawing, music, daily duties and organize events. I volunteered here until 2017. During my school years 2013-201..., I have volunteered in Elementary School Uherske Hradiste as Co-Facilitator. Where I helped to prepare an art programs for children in age 7-12. In a year 2017, I started to work as a personal care assistant and babysitter in The United Kingdom. Here I was gaining my experience as nanny for 9 months old little girl. This role included bathing, changing diapers, feeding, preparing meals and a light cleaning around the house. Last year in October 2021, I started to work as an Early Childhood Educator at Banff Child Care Centre. There, My responsibility was to take care of a group of ten children in age 1-2 year old. My role was to help children develop their skills as self-help, language, pretend play. I help them to promote independence, being brave and creative. My favourite things to do with the children is to read, create, do some art, which helps them with their creativity and imagination, also as well as pretend play. I love to go for walks with them and do some activities outside or just to get a fresh air. I am looking for a part time or full time babysitting.
