Who is Joanne: I have worked the majority of my time overseas in the tourism industry managing staff and client expectations. Some of the countries I have been fortunate enough to experience are Greece, Lapland, Morocco, Spain and for the last few years Thailand. I would consider myself to be an honest & trustworthy individual who is flexible and committed to any given task. I have a loving and giving personality who is energetic and fun to be with. I have been fully vaccinated in Canada. Care Experiences: My personnel care experiences includes many years of caregiving for my nieces and nephews whilst my family worked or went away overnight.  I also assisted with caregiving to both my grandparents when they became ill and needed full time care within their home.  I have an 11 year old step son who with husband, his ex and I are the primary caregivers. Whilst living in North Vancouver I was responsible for a two year old little girl in the mornings. In the afternoons I assisted with the care of two amazing young boys born with disabilities. Services And Training: I am comfortable doing play date supervision, teaching manners, and swimming supervision. "Light" household duties are anticipated within the scope of the childcare position.
