Nanny in Winnipeg, Manitoba

I have babysat for a number of families, dealing/taking care of bumps, bruises and scrapes, changing diapers, bathing, brushing or assisting in brushing teeth, helping child with using the washroom, putting to bed, cooking/feeding, cleaning, comforting child who's missing parent(s), playing games and having fun. I have been responsible for children ages 2-12 as well as leading a few dance lessons for youth girls grade 4-6 and I helped lead softball clinic for grades 4-6 girls. Some other experience I have with kids is hanging out with children at Hope Community Centre in Kenya, Africa (2012). The ages of the kids ranged from newborns to young adults around age 18. I was along with a group of eleven others similar in age to me and we led games and crafts with the kids and teens. Another experience I have is from this past summer (2014) when I traveled to South America, specifically to Puerto Lopez, Ecuador in which my boyfriend and myself acquainted ourselves with local children and played soccer and conversed in spanish in attempt to provide a safe/fun place to hang out, keep them out of trouble, and off the streets. It was also an experience in which I was able to learn some spanish and converse with some young girls without really understanding each other.
