Here in Vancouver my 1st employer has a 9 year old son and I also did light house keeping and prepare food for the child and i worked for 8 months. The 2nd family I worked for more than 2 years with 3 kids (7 year old son and 5 year old twins) I was taking care of the kids, prepare their food and light housekeeping.
