Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Over the last five years I've worked with several different families with varying degrees of regularity, currently I work as a casual sitter and emergency nanny for three families in the city of Toronto; one family of five with children ages 5,5, and 3.5, one family of four, boys ages 6, and 3, and another family of boys, ages 8 and 12. Previous to that I worked full time for a family of 5. I spent on average 40-45hrs a week with Layla, age 5, and twins, Julian and Mckenzie, 1.5 years old. I also briefly nannied while in England in 2011 as a means of earning money while travelling. My duties and tasks vary per family and child but I've done school drop off/pick up, meal prep and dinner, childrens laundry, personalized care and development, light housekeeping, dishes, pet care, grocery shopping, bath times, bed times, occasional late nights/weekends. I try to engage all children I work with on things that interest them but also stimulate positive values and habits in their growing lives, I try to foster creativity and empathy through different games/ crafts / projects and adventures.
