I used to care for 3 kids in the evening when their mother was busy or needed extra help. I cared for them on occasion around twice a week and some weekends for 3 years. During that time she had a newborn baby boy which gave me the experience and knowledge on how to care for a newborn. I would play games with the two older girls who were 3 and 5 when I started caring for them, also feed and bath them. I also was involved in the big brothers and big sisters program during my last two years of high school where I mentored a 8 year old girl during lunch hours where we would play games such as basketball or read stories together or even paint and colour. I also have a 3 year old nephew who I have cared for many times sporadically throughout out his life, from when he was just a newborn to today.
