I have over 10 years experience working with children between newborn – 15 years of age, as well as experience working with twins and children who have allergies/special needs. I am very conscientiousness about all aspects of my job and am a very dependable employee when it comes to my arrival time, school or pre-school pick-up/drop-off times as well as any other daily activities that your child may have. I pride myself in being the best nanny that I can be by not only planning different activities and games in a creative and fun way that promotes learning and the development of social and cognitive skills, but also by offering laughter, cuddles, and support in a way that allows your child to know they are cared for dearly. I enjoy engaging the children and myself in physical activities that will allow them to explore nature and would prefer to spend time outside as much as possible. I monitor any electronic time carefully, preferring that the children stay away from electronics (T.V. or video/computer games) as much as possible so that they can engage in activities that will help them grow instead. Creativity is a gift and finding ways that will allow a child to expand and find their creative side is something I am always striving for. I am very well organized and often will organize toys, clothing, books, etc that the children have out grown to make it easier for you to store or sell when the time comes. I also help to maintain a clean household by teaching the children how to properly clean up after themselves when play time is over, or when they have finished with arts and crafts. I do light housekeeping such as washing the children's clothing, cleaning the children's bathrooms and bedrooms, washing any dishes used by myself and the children, and will sweep or vacuum the floor if needed as well. Properly hygiene is one of my main priorities for myself and for your child and I will enforce cleanliness when appropriate. I have completed culinary school in the past so I enjoy preparing meals with balanced nutrition, paying special attention to any dietary requirements that your child may have. I have successfully potty-trained many children, and I have also aided in teaching children how to walk and talk, read and write, tie shoe laces etc. When it comes to my job as your child's nanny, anything that you would usually do for your child I will do. I am a strict but fair nanny, and will utilize the time-out method if/when needed, with the amount of time spent on time-out being dependent on the child's age. I like to teach children good morals and values throughout the day so they can grow up with a clear sense of right from wrong. I encourage questions and find unique ways of explaining things to ensure the children can understand what is being said to them clearly. My current work position I have been in for three and a half years, working with two beautiful girls. I am searching for some part-time, long-term morning work that will allow me to stay busy while the girls are in school in the mornings until I have to pick them in up the afternoon. Preferably, I would enjoy working two extra mornings a week starting in the month of September of 2019. I can offer excellent previous work related references and I also have my First Aid/CPR. I own my own vehicle so transportation is not an issue and I have no problem obtaining an up-to-date police record check. The early years of your child's life can be some of the most joyful, stressful, fun filled (or tantrum filled) days of their (and your) lives and I would be thrilled to offer my support and knowledge during this adventure called life.
