Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

Hello there! I’m Dana and I live in the Kanata area. I am looking for a full-time (part time could work) nanny position. I have been babysitting since I was quite young. At the end of high school I had the honour of volunteering in an elementary school as a teacher’s assistant. I worked with grade’s kindergarten, one, two and three. I also have had the privilege of growing up with many nieces and nephews. Their ages range from 1y to 13y. They’ve given me an amazing opportunity to watch and help them grow. I truly enjoy caring for children, sharing new experiences, help to educate them on different topics, as well as reading, spelling, and more! I believe I have always had an amazing connection with children, finding ways to teach, learn from them and keep them engaged. I’m very eager to gain more experience in child care. I enjoy finding new ways for children to learn; I have even had the chance to tutor grade 3 and down. Finding creative/fun ways to learn makes them more excited to do so and pulls their attention in. I used to nanny a family long-term, but had to leave for school. I took care of a 2 and 3 year old for over 2 years and wish I didn't have to leave. I hope to be able to be part of your family and gain more experiences to assist me in furthering my career. - Not only am I in child care, I also wouldn’t mind a housecleaning job as well.
