Nanny in Maple Ridge, British Columbia

Hello! My name is Philine, and I grew up with 7 siblings so taking care of infants to teenagers has been a big part of my life for the past 20 yrs! I've been working as a nanny in short term positions for a few years, in between my studies at the University of Alberta in Sec. Education, and traveling. I took a couple yrs off and relocated to BC, and am now looking to be a full-time nanny. My experience ranges from full-time care of a 4-mo old infant, to toddlers, 4, 8, and 11 year olds; as well as housekeeping! My day-to-day included bottles, diapers, naps, sleep training, tummy time, play, outdoor time etc. I've also provided after school care for older children which included reading, help with homework, music tutoring, games, outdoor time, and walking and driving them to and from activities. I have experience doing meal prep, laundry, and housekeeping duties - basically anything that's needed in an average home! I believe children thrive most when they feel safe and heard, are treated with respect and dignity, and lovingly guided; I'm a big fan of creativity and love watching their development! I'm fluent in English and German. I have my Child Care First Aid & CPR/AED(needs updating now), own a vehicle and am comfortable driving to your house, and taking kids to activities/running errands etc. if desired.
