Eli has been a great addition to our family. She is caring, adventurous, kind, a good cook, and also a great driver. On a regular basis Eli would pack a homemade lunch and snacks, and she would hit the road to have fun with the kids! I admired her willingness to take them out and enjoy, and at the same time I admired her ability to care for them. We have three little kids: 2, 4 and 6, so it was very courageous to take the three, have fun, and remain calm and kind. Eli prepared lots of homemade meals. She had lots of patience during meal times, and she was always successful getting everyone to have a good meal. One of Eli’s biggest strengths are her driving skills! We gave her the car, and we did a “driving test” on her first day… She passed it with an A+! It made my husband very comfortable to see her skills. Eli is also very cautious and responsible checking on everyone’s car seats. The kids feel safe with her, they have fun with her, and overall they enjoy having Eli around. During her time with us, Eli has completed three courses that will be an asset when looking after kids: 1) Canadian Red Cross First Aid training 2) Canadian Red Cross Be Safe training: Violence and abuse prevention training for adults, this training equips adults with the skills to deliver presentations for children on abuse prevention with age appropriate content 3) The Child’s Brain Explained to Parents: by Alvaro Bilbao, a Doctor in Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology from Spain. This course has a focus on positive discipline, and on understanding how children think to be able to better support them We recommend Eli to any family! She will be nice and caring! Safety is our biggest priority, and she met all the expectations. Eli will leave our family soon, but all doors are open for her and we look forward to have her helping us on a casual basis. THANKS A LOT ELI
