Dear family, My name is Maria and I am from Brazil. I'm 18 years old but turning 19 in September. I finished high school last year and started college, I studied Architecture for 6 months and realized that it wasn't what I was looking for. I wish to study Cosmetology in Canada but first I need to save some money for the tuition cause I will be paying for the college myself. I am a patient, responsible and loving person. I'm hardly ever in a bad mood. I hope to have a good relationship with the family based on trust, honesty and respect. I love to travel but I have only left my contry once. I went to Mississippi, USA and I stayed over there for a school year (my senior year). I lived with a host family and it was a great experience, we are still in touch. I had a host brother of 13 years old, we always played games together and had a lot of fun. I also had a host sister with new born twins and I babysat for her all the time. I love children and I love being around them! I have a litlle sister of 8 years old and we have a lot of fun together, I've been taking care of her since she was born. When I was an exchange student in the US I used to babysit for 2 kids at the same time (ages 3 and 4) but the experience was not paid. I love children and I love to spend my days cuddling with a little baby. I want the kids to have lots of fun while learning some responsabilities such as clening their own mess. I encourage arts and crafts and proper activities to every age. I want to read for them, take them to parks and cook with them. I am sure they will learn a lot with me and I will learn a lot with them too. I am not First Aid/CPR certified but if it is a must to you, I am willing to do it. I'm so excited about this experience and I will do my best to help you in every way I can!
