Nanny Job in Edmonton, Alberta

About us: We are hard-working, fun, loving and respectful. Both my husband and I work full time Monday to Friday. We have twin boys (almost 2 years old) who are healthy, curious, animated and fun. We've been told when our boys were babies that we had it easy despite having two at the same time! Both are sleep trained, self-feeders, and have a consistent and predictable schedule. The boys enjoy baby music classes, outdoor walks (even in the rain and winter). We have an awesome play area set up for them to discover and engage in meaningful activities. What we are looking for: We are looking for an experienced caregiver to care for our boys on a Live Out basis - in our home on Monday to Friday excluding stat holidays. Hours would be 8:00am - 5:00pm. - Must have current CPR and First Aid. - Any child development education/courses are a bonus. - Must be a current resident of Canada and eligible to work as we are not willing to do LIMA or sponsorship. - Must have references, clean criminal record and vulnerable sector check. Position details: Position would start in August 2018 and orientation would be provided by our current nanny who is going back to school. We live in the Capilano neighborhood - close to a beautiful playground and the river valley! Majority of work is childcare including planning and implementing developmental, educational and fun activities. Other duties may include light tidying, kids' laundry and meal prep. $15/hour negotiable, paid STAT Holidays, 10 paid sick days per year and your choice of banked or paid vacation at 4%.
