Nanny Job in Burlington, Ontario

Hi! We are a family of five. We have three boys. #1 - Age 7 in grade 2, #2 age 4 in SK and #3 one month old. #2 son Charlie has a diagnosis of high functioning Autism. He is very verbal and potty trained. He is a very loving little boy and very social. The best way to describe his level of behavior is that he is about a year behind emotionally & physically - Though he is 5 he acts more like 4. He doesn't have any stim's or self injuring or really bad meltdowns. He is currently in ABA therapy on Mondays and in SK Tues - Fri and loves going to both. We are looking for someone to help with the following: Two - Three days a week (flexible) come at 8:00 am to help get older boys ready for school and do school drop off which is at 8:40am. Come back and watch the baby for the day from 8:45 - 4pm. Sometimes picking up of older boys at 3:10pm may be needed. School is in walking distance on nice days. During the day - care for the baby is #1, secondary if there is time, some light kids laundry and general clean up of kitchen would be great. There may be occasional requests for some weekend or evening shifts - if you are available (for special events). We are looking for a very nurturing, loving, patient individual - ideally has some experience with special needs children (but not required) and with infants. That being said, we need someone that wont take any - so to speak. Our children are put in time out's and have high value items removed when they are misbehaving. Patience will be a huge asset. We also have a dog, a poodle mix - who is non shedding both very, very friendly (sometimes overly so ;). The dog will need letting out back periodically during the day and need feeding. If its nice and you feel like walking him with baby that's great also. You will need to have a vehicle - school is round the corner so walking in good weather is fine, but in bad weather a vehicle will be needed.
