Nanny in Calgary

Here are some reasons why I think I would make a great nanny for your family... 1. I'm fun. Obviously I'm not fun 24/7. There are several hours a day that I am not fun, and that is when I sleep. 2. I'm creative and artistic. I see a world of potential on a sheet of blank paper and I try to inspire children to feel the same way. 3. I know songs! My repertoire goes beyond Twinkle Twinkle and If You're Happy And You Know It... plus, I always sing them enthusiastically. Maybe sometimes too enthusiastically. 4. I'm hands-on. I can't tell you how often I see nannies at the park, sitting on a bench, absorbed in their phones. I definitely don't blame them, but I try to use a different approach. You may have heard of it... "playing." 5. I'm experienced. I took part in a Red Cross babysitters course when I was 13, was involved in swimming lessons for many years (that include CPR training,) and I have been looking after children for 10 years. Nannying professionally for 2 years. 6. I'm loving. I am a truly compassionate and warm person and I like to apply those qualities to my work in child care. 7. Despite my playful personality, I am also very professional. I may go a little kooky in my nanny ad, but I promise, I'm very reliable. If you're still reading, thank you! I know it can take a lot of effort to read through dozens of nanny-for-hire ads, so I appreciate it. Now that I've tooted my own horn, let me tell you a bit about my non-nanny side; I'm a 24-year-old who studied radio broadcasting in college and enjoyed a short stint working on-air at Virgin Radio. That was fun, but I am happier around little people, and that's why I'm a nanny. I'm in a long-term relationship with a great guy who has given me a love of fishing! We spend our weekends outdoors, usually trying to catch fish, occasionally succeeding. Before I write my autobiography here, I'll conclude with more on what I'm looking for in a family. I appreciate and can engage kids of all ages. That being said, I absolutely adore working with babies! My two nephews are under two, and I'm currently caring for a 21-month-old. Nurturing his growth over the last 12 months has been a true joy for me. Eventually I would like to study early childhood education, or potentially jump straight into a Montessori training course. I am comfortable driving children to activities, cooking, cleaning, bathing, laundry, diaper duty, story time, park time, you name it. **My main priority will always be the welfare of the children, but I will help with pretty much anything you need help with. My Employment: I am near the end ot a 1-year, part-time contract with a fantastic family. I have been using French (I am about 90% fluent) in the home since day 1, and communicate with my work baby in both languages to this day. I'm putting myself out there for anyone seeking a FT nanny in the early summer of 2018. I would love to stay right where I am but in order to achieve some personal goals, I need to look towards a full-time position. If you liked my profile, please say hello.
