Nanny in Crossfield, Alberta

Hello! My name is Kameron Kellner, I am a 30 year old male that has recently moved back to Crossfield after living in Vancouver for 11 years. The Pandemic was causing a lot challenges including getting put out of work due to my exposure to the public by using public transit. I was working as a CSW at a First Nations group home. We provided meals, shelter, one on one interactions, and worked with other team members to ensure the health and safety of our youth. If needed we worked with the child and their teachers, social worker, and mental health teams. We took in children and youth ages 5 years old to 18 years old who had unfit living environments. I have my food safe and First Aid- But my First Aid may have just expired so I will have to see if they are any locations providing refresher courses. I do not have a active drivers license at the moment as it has expired because I couldn't afford or need a car in Vancouver. So I am working on that, but it is a bit of a process. My Education is not really chid care related, I have taken foundations of counselling, Basic Counselling, and addiction and Human behaviour. I worked at a addiction treatment centre prior to the group home. Before I started studying counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy I went to art school and studied Graphic Design. What I am looking for... hmmm. Well due to the fact that I do not have a car and a expired license I need something I can do in town till I get all that sorted out. Other then that I am pretty flexible. I enjoy kids and in the past used to babysit for a few families in town, they are all grown up, graduated and I try to keep in touch with some of the parents. But I should tell you that I have applied for some other positions, not sure what that looks like with covid but ideally the sooner I get transportation I would Like to get back to working as a clinical support worker/Child and youth care worker or even a treatment facility or program as that is what I studied and trained for. I also eventually would like to go back to school to learn advanced sign language and work with individuals with disabilities or a translator. Well, Thank you for your time.
