April 22nd is Earth Day, a day in which Canadians can celebrate environmental respect and learn how we can all lessen our impact on the earth. Your community probably has events scheduled throughout April that you can attend, and nearly every school-aged child participates in Earth Day activities in school. Why not take the opportunity to have your own celebration?
EcoKids has a lot of games and activities everyone can enjoy, focusing on climate change and waste, to energy and land use! There are puzzles and quizzes, as well as a photo/drawing contest for kids!
Take some time to celebrate Earth Day in your community, and learn about your environment!
