Nanny Job in London, Ontario

This position requires a kind, intelligent, highly reliable and punctual child-minder for one 11 year old child with Down syndrome every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday morning before school: 7:30am - 8:30 am minimum. The child\'s school bus arrives at the home by 8:25 and the Child Supervisor must have the child fully dressed, packed for school, and assist getting the child onto the bus. Upon arrival at the house the caregiver will also assist with lunch preparation for the family of three children and breakfast help. If the caregiver requires additional hours to make the position feasible, a longer shift can be considered to help with household clean-up once the child has gone to school. The house is a lovely single-family home in Old North London, close to Oxford and Waterloo and bus routes. Having a drivers license is an asset. The single parent of the home is starting full-time work August 8th, 2015. The oldest child is in High School and the youngest child will be attending a school-based Before-School Care Program. 11 year old with Down Syndrome - very articulate, reads, writes, and is independent getting dressed and with toiletting. She goes to school full-time, I just need someone to be at the house until she catches her bus from home.
