Nanny Job in Oakville, Ontario

We are in need of a part-time, live-out nanny to provide after school care based out of our home in Central Oakville 3 days per week (Tues/Wed/Thurs) from approximately 2:15 to 5:15. You would be picking up and looking after our younger two children (two girls, ages 6 and 9). We also have two older children (a girl age 12 and a boy age 14) for whom you would just be a point of contact as they are self-sufficient. You would pick up the 6 year old at our local school (a short walk from our home) around 2:30, and the 9 year old from the bus stop at the park up the street at around 4:15 (unless her older sister is walking her home to meet you). The girls love crafts, baking and playing outside at the park or in our backyard, so they're pretty easy to keep entertained! Ideally, if you are local and available, we would also be interested in before school care from 7:00 until approximately 9:15 those same 3 days, to help prepare lunches and get the 6 year old to school (her bell is at 8:10), but this is not necessary if you are only available for after-school care (as I am currently working from home in our basement office, although that might change!) We are looking for someone with experience taking care of more than one child under the age of 10, and someone who is patient, gentle, responsible, and who loves being with children. You would need to be a non-smoker, and comfortable around pets (we have a friendly dog and an equally friendly cat). We are looking for someone with a First Aid certificate, CPR and a criminal reference check, or willing to obtain those things.
