Hello! I have about 10 years experience with children and teens. My journey in the human field started in 2008 when I decided to become a teacher in Brazil. I have a teaching degree in Arts and also worked as an English teacher for 2 years. I had different roles in public and private schools and Brazil, such as substitute teacher, school assistant and language instructor. I moved to Canada in 2014 and worked as a live-in caregiver for 3 years. Then I got my Child Development Supervisor certificate due to my teaching degree from Brazil. I've been working as a preschool teacher in a licensed Daycare since January 2018, and now I'm moving towards my next step, which is going back to school and pursuing a Social Work degree in Canada. In addition to my experience, I also took part on the AuPair Program in the USA in 2011 and have experience babysitting an autistic child in Calgary. References can be provided upon request.
