Rowan began baby sitting our children when they were five and two: they are now 10 and seven. My kids loved her right from the beginning - they have always told their friends that she is firm but fair and the best baby sitter ever. I not only liked how comfortable my kids were with her, but how well she minded the rules of our household and our requests the kids tech time be limited and their out door time be unlimited. Rowan never just showed up and supervised our kids; she always came prepared with ideas for crafts, games, books and baking and was fully engaged with our kids while we were away. Rowan was also very adept at managing sibling rivalry as our children grew into this stage. Arguments were easily settled as my kids have great respect for Rowan's opinions and desisions regarding their disputes - firm but fair. Our son has anxiety and Rowan is the one person outside our household he trusts completely not only with his care, but with his thoughts and feelings. Rowan did provide care in overnight situations for us from time to time as well. Neither parent nor child was at all concerned about this, as we all knew the kids were in capable, respectful hands. Our son also has food allergies and we have strict nutritional ideals and these were willingly accpeted and abided by by Rowan. We were very sad when Rowan moved, and we have had difficulty finding a suitable replacement. She set the child care bar very high - she really is the best baby sitter ever.

Rowan was very responsible, helpful and kind to my children. She was able to cook for them, feed them, take them to activities and keep them busy with crafts and or baking. She is a very good nanny! Totally recommend her.
